I have 100 concepts objective cover on my AR, but wanted to give Hammy a try for my PRS Rimfire rig. In short get it, you will not be disappointed. Built solid, well thought through design and functions great as a low-pro objective cover.
It really just puts the finishing touch on any build.
I went to Hammy with the most difficult of optics, the now-vaporware Bushnell Elite Tactical 1-6.5. Not only was there no other precedent of scope caps being made for them, ever, no other measurements existed for them, technically, or in the wild! Hammy was patient enough with the two tries he had to go through to make sure the scope caps are perfect for me, and it took two tries because my caliper went dead on me.
This is everything you need for your scope, of your life depends on it. The design is ingenious - nothing that could potentially break in the middle of operation, and everything that is needed that works. Even though the Japanese glass of the Bushnell does wonder in clarity, with leaving it bare, the dust will make hell out of it to pay for. The cap covers it up for that. Being able to flip the cap completely sideways also helps with maintaining sight picture and not distracting. Of course, the ARD goes without description on saving your life. However, I wish the opened-center option is available for a combo like this.
There's only so many things to do to dress up your rifle, but this is it! Matter of fact, I highly recommend all the rest of Hammy's line-up for all of your rifles, as I'd slowly acquire more for mine.

These are revolutionizing scope caps in my opinion. I dont care how well made the hinged, flip up scope caps can be made, they just dont make any sense if you ever need to run something additional on your objective like a kill-flash, sun shade, or aperture ring, or a combination of those. Traditional scope caps dont allow any of that whereas these do. Once you flip these up, youre free and clear to attach anything you want to your scopes objective. And, they're so affordable, you can buy a cap that stays on your objective, and one for your sunshade in case you just want to keep it on. This is a great idea!

Very solid product! I added it to my rifle to give me another edge on coyotes and it does everything as advertised and the fitment is perfect! Will definitely be purchasing more for some of my other builds. I love how large of a selection there is for different scopes leaving this product available to virtually everyone and anyone. The added bonus is that you can flip the whole unit up out of the way if you don’t need to use it or want to let as much light into the objective as possible for those early morning and late evening shots.
Better price than competitors! Unmatched customer service! And starbursts! Not my first purchase form hammy and won’t be the last!
I was unsure of sizing because there are so many options to ensure proper fitment and Hammy was quick to respond and help me find the correct fit. These are great!!!
