- Limited Quantity Blemishes: I have some of these tools that have blemishes that do not affect the function. It's essentially a "wrinkling" on the outer surface that is noticeable if you look for it. If you would like to save a little bit, the blemish is an excellent option.

- Specialized Fitment: The location of the screw head, and especially the flat shape of it, on the SRO leaves much to be desired. This tool greatly reduces the chances of scratching the optic body, and most importantly the glass. Since this tool is MJF printed Nylon it is also much more forgiving than metal-on-metal or metal-on-glass contact. The SRO tool is tapered near the middle to allow it to be nearly perpendicular to the SRO, greatly easing the cap removal and installation.

- Scratch Free: Multi Jet Fusion 3D-printed tool reduces the likelihood of scratching your optic compared to a coin, screwdriver, or other metal-on-metal contact. I have yet to scratch my battery cap, though your results could in theory vary.

- BROS Compatible: The neck is purposely designed long enough to accommodate a BROS.

- Usage Notes: Ensure you push the tool into the battery cap while you twist it. When re-tightening, go until it is snug and then stop. This is a plastic tool, and is not meant to be tightened like you would a tire lug nut.

- Original, Innovative Design: 1700+ products designed and 3D printed in the heart of America in St Louis, Missouri by Hammy3DPrints.

Great little tool for a great optic

My only hate for the SRO is the battery cap, yeah awesome I don't have the remove the optic to change the battery, but you can't use just any tool with out damaging the cap. Now that I have the Hammy SRO tool, I'm back to fully loving my SRO.

The SRO tool works. One still has to come into the battery housing at a heavy slant, but that is due to the design of the SRO as the battery is very close to the lens. Other than that aspect, the tool works if you slowly keep working at it. A tool like this is a must have for the SRO.

Fixes the annoying issue of having to scratch up your SRO battery cap, should be a standard tool shipped from the factory! Great Job

The cross pattern unfortunately chipped and broke off. It wasn't as deep as I liked the cross pattern to be. It made it very hard to take off battery cap and kept slipping. It is really a hit or miss with 3D printing stuff. But...worked better than any other thing you will find laying around at home. The SRO has such a bad design that it makes us source a tool just to take off the battery cap. Such a pain.
