- Material Type: The PLA+ version has thousands sold and is great for most use cases. When heat resistance is essential, such as if your light head is immediately next to your silencer or muzzle device and you love mag dumping into trash, the PETG Carbon Fiber (PETG-CF) option would be better. For a sleeker look and even higher temp-resistance, the MJF Nylon version is best (MJF Nylon is slowly rolling out, use the contact form to request a version for your light).
- Precise Fit: Each light cover is sized specifically for each light model, within a few hundredths of an inch. This minimizes light bleed and wiggling compared to Small/Medium/Large type generalized sizing.
- Two Styles: See the fifth photo. The Quick Flip version has an extended ledge that can be used to remove the cover and expose the light lens quickly. The Original version is more circular and requires more intentional effort to pull off the flashlight head.
- Fully Covers Lens: Prevents glare and negligent discharges from immediately giving away your location by fully covering the lens. Also covers the lens from soot / carbon buildup from shooting. Due to needing to print with the front of the cover on the print bed, there may be some shine to it which can be minimized by sanding or spray painting it.
- Rubber Band vs Tip Grip: Cover is held onto light head with included shock cord and rubber band, or shock cord and printed clamp called the Tip Grip. The Tip Grip removes the need to run the shock cord back to the light mount, instead everything is contained on the head itself for easy battery changes. Tip Grip Install Video Link
Note: The Tip Grip now uses an M3 Allen Head, rather than Phillips. The Tip Grip is also compatible with other light covers if you have one from another brand.
Do not overtorque the Tip Grip. Go until it doesn't slide forward, then do another quarter turn - only a couple inch-pounds. The ends do not need to touch.

MATERIAL: 3D printed using PLA+, PETG-CF, or MJF Nylon filament, depending on the selected option. Note that PLA+ is not a high-temp filament rated for use inside vehicles left in direct sunlight during summer. The PETG-CF is more heat-resistant, with MJF Nylon being the most heat-resistant.
WARRANTY: If this item breaks I will make any design adjustments, if needed, and send a replacement for free.

The only trouble was putting the nut in the groove to hold it from spinning as you screw the back bracket in. Other than that its smooth sailing. Great quality for sure. I got them on all my lights!

This light cap has exceeded my expectations. Don’t spend more elsewhere when Hammy has you (and any negligent light discharges) covered.
Phenomenal product. Fit and finish were absolutely perfect on my WML. I have the Tip Grip and the Ranger Band versions and they both perform phenomenally. I recommend these to all my friends and clients who run WMLs. A really affordable and valuable upgrade to your illumination system.
I went through a few of these light covers (made of the softer plastic) and they all ended up burning from my suppressor. I talked to the owner and he pointed me to the nylon light covers and haven’t had any issues. To be clear, the other light covers with less tolerant materials was MY fault. I should have gone with the toughest one at the start. The owner was extremely helpful and very quick to respond and everything is great. I have multiple products from Hammy3DPrints and all of them are amazing. Will definitely buy from here again!
I was surprised by the quality of the lens cover! It was a perfect fit and doesn’t let any light through when my weapon light is on, until I flip the cover off. It was super easy and intuitive to install as well. Shortly after installing it, I ran about 300 rounds through my rifle to see how it held up being so close to the suppressor, and it did great! Very professional and sleek looking as well. All of that at a great price. Would 100% recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a great lens cover at an affordable price!
Design and fitment is good but requires some dremal work if your light has ranger wrap. Heat resistance is ok if further away from the suppressor.
Shipping was as advertised, no complaints, fit and finish was good, color should look good with some wear and tear on the paint, tight grip is pretty neat. Cap fits the head super well, no wiggle and little to no light leaks in a dark room, very pleased. Will probably buy another if I get another m640. It’s been too cold for extended range trips so I haven’t gotten to test how the higher heat material will hold up so close to the can. Not a great picture but it’s what I got. Again very pleased, keep up the great work.
As with all of your products the fit and finish were excellent! I build rifles for many shooters. I'll use your products again. Actually I already have.
