After I got over my embarrassment of thinking a .30 Plano Ammo Box came with the inserts (silly me) I found one at a local range. The inserts I had to shave the wells just slightly – perhaps a couple of millimeters on all four side for each well. Once that was done the magazines dropped right in. However, the final row of wells near the box hinge I will have to insert the magazines backwards. If not, then the magazines sick out too high and the lid will not close. As you know the magazines are angled once placed in the inserts. Placing the final row of magazines in backwards allows the mags to drop lower into the box and thus allowing me to close the box. If not, then the mags come up against the box near the hinge, thus they ride higher. This is more of an issue with the .30 ammo box itself rather than the insert design. All in all, I like the concept of this magazine box. I can keep all of my M9/92 FS magazines in one place – I have multiple weapons of this make/model.

I don't think you should compel people to write words unless they really want to the product was just fine the reviewing process is bullshit.
