Fits snug and holds secure. One (obvious) thing to note is that these are tailored toward the OEM baseplates particularly (and extensions, if they have the same footprint). If you have aftermarket baseplates that are wider or otherwise differently shaped (i.e. Vicker's baseplates, etc.) they may not seat in the grove and could be prone to sliding out. This is obvious and not a knock on the product at all, just something for consideration if you're partial to other baseplates.
